Burn the Trees Project

Or something like that. Can’t quite remember, but I do know that the band’s debut CD is out, and it’s ten times more than what I’d expected. The sound mix is great, the package is pro all the way, and the band just sounds good…despite a semi-comical MPEG video hidden away on the disc’s data track—and despite the fact that Sean forgot to thank his mother in the credits. But hey, I got my copy for free, so who am I to complain?

Sticking with music for the moment, Tangerine Dream (the gods of electronica) have converted the DNA in my brain to require no less than 160 minutes per day of Inferno. Damn, these guys are good considering they first got together in 1967. They even had the good sense to make Goblin’s Club sound nothing like the title.

I’m just chatting idly here, a bit irked that Maria Scaffidi has been hypnotized by Mary Lee Tracy and seems to have dropped off the face of the Earth—much like Vanessa Atler (Maria was spunky, sassy, and has become the latest in a long line of inspirations behind “The Spandex Hero,” my gymnastics novel). So if you’re looking for something meaningful, look elsewhere. Also: You’re also not going to be able to post any messages in the Forum(s) for a while, until the ShadowKeep (which is where our forums are hosted) server is back up. In the meantime, I will be putting up some more photos in a few days and maybe another video or two. Until then, just try to go limp.
